Have seen many of the operas that Emerging Pictures has released. So happy to be able to see operas at La Scala, since I have never been able to see them in person. It was always my fantasy to be able to do so.

I missed all of these wonderful programs because there was not enough publicity. I finally saw it in the weekend newspaper several weeks ago. Since then I have been trying to get information. Even this website does not tell me anything about upcoming events!
Ann Kerrick | February 18, 2011 at 1:19 pm
Marvelous to see great performances locally!! Wish our local theater had more publicity about them.

Hello,
I am so very disappointed that there are no theaters here in Connecticut that present your \”Opera in Cinema\” magnificant productions!!! I am fortunate to have a theater in Connecticut that shows the New York Metropolitan Opera series, but I would truly love to see the operas you have shown and plan to show in the future from England, Italy, Spain, and elsewhere. I know there is a HUGE audience in central Connecticut that would fill every seat in the house. The theater I recommend is RAVE BUCKLAND HILLS 18, 99 Redstone Road, Manchester, Connecticut (Telephone 860 647-8406. This is the theater that regularly presents the operas from the New York Met. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT YOU CAN ARRANGE TO HAVE YOUR WONDERFUL PRODUCTIONS MADE AVAILABLE HERE. Many thanks for your help. Frank

I love opera, but I believe the intentions of the composer should be respected – which most avant-garde productions do not do. They tend to substitute the crude and the abstract for the historical settings relevant to the opera\’s music.
