Opera in Cinema is a worldwide series of international operas, curated and distributed by Emerging Pictures. Emerging is the exclusive theatrical distributor of high definition operas from some of the world’s most famous opera companies including La Scala, Salzburg Festival, La Fenice, Teatro Maggio Musicale, Palau de les Arts "Reina Sofia", Gran Teatre del Liceu and others.

In addition to supplying these operas to local multiplexes, Emerging has a network of arts institutions, media arts centers and independent art house theaters, tied together through digital technology - enabling them to cost effectively exhibit art films, documentaries, foreign language films, independent cinema and cultural programming.

The Emerging Cinemas Network currently consists of 65 venues and is rapidly growing.
