I don\’t find anything scheduled after Nabucco in August. Are you dropping the Opera in Cinema series?

@Curtis Malone,
The page you are commenting on is for a title that plays live in December 2011, so you are incorrect.
What is the schedule of the operas, ballets and/or plays?
Visit our series websites: http://www.operaincinema.com, http://www.balletincinema.com, and http://www.shakespeareincinema.com to find schedules for venues near you. Input your ZIP code or city name into the search bar on the upper-right hand section of your screen. Select “find venues near (city name).” The website will pull up all the venues near you and their complete schedules. Click the date of the screening to see showtimes.
With the exception of live broadcasts, each individual venue gets to choose its own schedule, showtimes and titles. While we encourage venues to play our newest titles, we allow our venues flexibility with their scheduling and programming, to best suit the needs of their communities. If there is a specific title you would like to see at your local theatre, contact your theatre to request it.
Not all of our venues are capable of showing live broadcasts, as they require additional equipment. Live broadcast dates are determined by the opera houses or ballet companies of origin, not by Emerging Pictures. If you would like to see live broadcasts at your local venue, contact your theatre to request it.

When I search for a theatre within 50 miles of Washington, D.C. for the .2011-2012 season, not one venue is found. The closest theatre shown is in Charlottesville, VA. I have attended the Phoenix 9 theatre in Herndon, VA this past season.

I don\’t see any venues in New York, NY for the live broadcast of the LaScala opening. Why? Find it hard to believe. Symphony Space has done it in past seasons.

Sometimes our theatres don’t book that far in advance. It’s still 5 month away. It will be showing at Big Cinemas 59 but they just haven’t formally booked it yet.
