Why are there no venues near me?
If there are no venues near you, we’d love your ideas for cinemas where we might be a good fit. Note that we cannot screen our operas in venues that are already signed up with the Met Opera, as their contracts are exclusive. Which language is it sung in – will their be sub-titles or will the cinema show the sur-titles if used at the opera?

Many small cities and towns on the list but Philadelphia (fifth largest city) is not. Have the Phillies made too many enemies this season?

Why on Tuesday? I have a schedule that says Encore for Faust is Oct. 5 at 7 pm!!!Not Oct.11–that date, 10/11,
is now scheduled for a primary election, and I work at the Polls, so will miss Faust! I am so sad about this!!!

Thanks for your message.
Our theatres choose their own showtimes, with the exception of live showtimes, which are designated by the opera house or ballet company of origin. I’m sorry you missed Faust!
