I am most disappointed that there is only one cinema in the whole of the United Kingdom showing this. Please could you give us all a chance to see these live performances.
Thank you

We want these to be broadcast in Canada!

I went to see it at the local Ormonde Cinema. It looked fine but there was no sound. The overture was worth watching but we felt without sound it lacked something so we got our money back and went home. I was wondering if it was a transmission thing or was the fault only in our cinema. Regards…………….John

@Derek,
We broadcast to a few select theatres in Canada, in Toronto and Montreal. Check the showtimes tab to see what’s playing near you!

@Joanne Rooney,
We also broadcast into the Detroit Institute of Art, although they do not pick up all our offerings. With the exception of live broadcasts, each individual venue gets to choose its own schedule, showtimes and titles. While we encourage venues to play our newest titles (the ones that are promoted in our newsletters) we allow our venues flexibility with their scheduling and programming, to best suit the needs of their communities. If there is a specific title you would like to see at your local theatre, contact your theatre to request it.

@Alex,
Where can I see the operas, ballets or plays near me?
Visit http://www.operaincinema.com for opera & Shakespeare, http://www.balletincinema.com for ballet, and input your ZIP code or city name into the search bar on the upper-right hand section of your screen. Select “find venues near (city name).” The website will pull up all the venues near you and their complete schedules. Click the date of the screening to see showtimes.

How can we get them in The Woodlands, TX?

@Maria
Why are there no venues near me?
If there are no venues near you, we’d love your ideas for cinemas where we might be a good fit. Note that we cannot screen our operas in venues that are already signed up with the Met Opera, as their contracts are exclusive. Visit our contact page to request a venue near you.
